Web Chat
Bring SubVerse chat agents into your own chat interface.
Bring SubVerse chat agents into your own chat interface. Your backend sends each user message to SubVerse through the Trigger chat API, and the agent's replies are delivered to your webhook. You keep full control of the UI.
Capability | What it does |
Use your own chat UI | Connect any website, app, or backend to a SubVerse chat agent. No widget to embed. |
Keep conversations going | Each conversation has a session ID, so the agent remembers context across messages. |
Send and receive files | Users can send files or file links, and agents can reply with images, videos, audio, and documents. |
Pass user context | Send a user's name and custom metadata, such as plan or current page, with each message. |
Follow the agent's work | Receive the agent's reasoning, tool calls, and tool results as they happen, not just the final reply. |
Secure your webhook | Protect your endpoint with Basic, Bearer, header, query, or custom authentication. |
How it works
Your app→Trigger chat API→Chat agent→Your webhook→Your app
The API replies right away with a session ID. The agent then works on the message and sends each step, including its final reply, to your webhook as a separate request.
What you'll need
A backend server that can call the SubVerse API
A public HTTPS endpoint to receive webhook events
A SubVerse workspace API key
A chat agent in SubVerse
